The consortium presenting this project is comprised of two SMEs (CellMat and ABN), two large enterprises (Kimpur and Arcelik), and one research center (LSIWC). The five entities have a wide experience in their respective fields of activity and are complementary, covering the whole value chain around polyurethane.
The consortium has been carefully selected to cover all the value chain. The production of the bio-polyol (LSIWC), the development and optimization of the formulations to produce rigid PU foams (CellMat) and PU elastomers (Kimpur and CellMat), the up-scaling of the formulations (Kimpur), the validation of the materials in several applications: thermal insulation of refrigerators (Arcelik) and pipes (ABN) and damping and acoustic insulation of dishwashers (Arcelik).
